The Tompkins Hall basement will become an "innovation incubator," which officials said they hope will be ready to open next semester. Students took a tour of and made suggestions for the space last week.

GW Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship is working with the University Administration on providing the GW student, faculty, staff, and alumni with a GW Startup Incubator. Currently, the university plans to provide space on the basement level of the Thompkins Hall.

Read about it in The Hatchet.

What is a Startup Incubator?

A startup incubator is a collaborative program designed to help new startups succeed. Incubators help entrepreneurs solve some of the problems commonly associated with running a startup by providing workspace, seed funding, mentoring, and training. The sole purpose of a startup incubator is to help entrepreneurs grow their business.

Check out the current pictures below! We will update them as more work is done until completion. Opening is planned for Spring of 2017!
