The GW Office of Innovation & Entrepreneurship hosts many events throughout the school year as part of our many wonderful programs. Check out the list of events for the upcoming Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 semesters. If you are interested in learning more entrepreneurial skills, wanting to meet your next mentor or business partner, or just interested in networking with some of GW's most innovative community -- then attend one of our events! I-Corps Summer Short Course

This short course introduces participants to the key concepts and methodologies used in I-Corps, which is the rigorous market assessment and validation program pioneered by the National Science Foundation. Teams that successfully complete this course will be eligible to apply for either the NSF I-Corps program or the regional DC I-Corps program.

3 Day Startup Weekend

3 Day Startup is a 72-hour learning-by-doing campus program that teaches entrepreneurial skills in an extreme hands-on environment. The program is FREE but everyone must apply to participate! 3DS is open to all faculty, staff, alumni and grad and undergrad students of all years, majors, and experience levels. Admissions are rolling, so please apply ASAP to increase your chances of participating.

Workshop: Business Model Canvas

This hands-on workshop will include a brief overview of the business model canvas, the current state-of-the-art form specifying the nine key elements of a startup venture. Instructors will then hold individual advising sessions to help students create a cavas or improve the canvas for their particular startup idea.

The GW Startup Career Fair is a partnership of GW and other local universities. Some of the hottest startups along with hundreds of the most entrepreneurial students from the greater DC area gather to network for internships and job opportunities. The event is free, but all startup employers and students must register to participate. We will also be having a panel of entrepreneurial guests speak before the fair.
